boulder,co: evans couch

the couch... of ** LuUvV**

evan is a good friend of isaac's from high school. he just graduated from the university of colorado and is now waiting for job offers in his field of bionic man engineering. this is evan's housemates couch. it came out of storage last week. evan's housemate is also an engineer and stored the couch at his company's warehouse where the company stores their solar tubes. after being stored with the solar tubes for so long, the residual from the tubes have made the couch radio active. not evident in this photo is the soft glow the couch emits and a light humming sound. after one night of sleeping on this couch, i have developed super powers. these powers are my gift. these powers are my curse. with great power comes great responsibility.

this couch is a relatively new couch so all the cushions are firm with a good spring. again, this is another couch that i fit into perfectly with two inches to spare when i lie flat on my back. when you take the back cushions off, the couch is quite spacious, comparable to the size of a twin bed. i find the proportions very elegant.

the way the arm rests curve dramatically is a little corny to me. the couch is to round around all its edges, not my style. i think couches should not look to designy. the texture of the couch is okay, but you can tell that as more and more buts rest upon those cushions, the wear over the years will make the couch feel like one soft marshmallow. couches are like marshmellos, except reverse. new couches come in like stale marshmallows; hard and funny smelling. as they age they become softer and sweeter. evan, sorry i was so harsh on your couch. its nothing personal, just biznas.

  1. I can't believe how many different ways you spell "marshmallow". Also, please don't post pictures like that again: it's traumatic for your readership.
